SEÁN BARNA // COME AT ME GENTLY
What can I say about Seán Barna... I don't even know where to begin about this beautifully raw soul. I met Seán the very first night he moved to Los Angeles. He walked into my house, just before midnight, after driving 15 hours from Colorado, with a 24 pack of beer (half drunken) and personality you soon would not forget. I honestly wasn't sure what I thought of this man. I would have never of guessed that he would soon become one of my favorite people.
I remember watching his first solo show in LA. It was in a very small space in the back of the Viper Room in Hollywood with a handful of people. It was there that I realized how special he was. So vulnerable and raw.. a voice that sketches into your soul and makes you feel the pain of love and loss.
I have been lucky enough to sit by him and watch as his first EP went from an uncertain dream to a beautiful reality. I am so excited to share his first single off his EP entitled Cutter Street, here is Come At Me Gently...
These are the last photo's I took of Seán before he left for the east coast back in march. We had a small intimate show on a rooftop near Downtown Los Angeles as a sending off and we went at sunset to set up and do some shots.
