SEasonal Cooking
One thing about the holiday season that NONE of us love is the abundance of carb heavy, sugary foods. I mean, we love them... but our belly's don't. However, that does NOT have to be the case at every dinner. I was in the kitchen again with Miss Chelsey Rose and we wanted to create a dish that was not only pretty impressive, but just all around tasty.
Tis the season to gather. That's what I like most about the fall. Yet another reason to set the table, jump in the kitchen and try out some new seasonal recipes. On this occasion, I spent the afternoon with fitness and health guru Chelsey Rose, browsing the the farmers market, testing out some new recipes and setting a simple sleek fall table. I am overjoyed to be working with this beauty, bringing some simple and healthy , seasonal appetizers your way. The perfect collection of snacks for a weekend gathering with friends.
Fall is officially here and you can sure smell it in my apartment. This is my all time favorite part of the year, as I could live off of the sweet taste of cinnamon and sugar. I just spent the last few weeks with my family in florida and whilst I was there, did some good home baking to kick off the season with my sister. Here is our Chai tea Glazed Cinnamon Buns-- watch as Nicole and I create some seasonal goodness.
As summer is quickly ending and the cool breezes of fall begin to blow, we start to see the seasonal change in our back yards and at the grocery. However, as we still have a good few weeks of warm weather at bay, I have created the perfect exchange of season spritzer that will cool you on a hot September day and help bring in fall.
