Our kettle was boiling before the sun breached the canyon top and we spent the better part of the morning enjoying the slowness in the canvas filled village.

The steadiness, the warmth of the sand that turns so cold at night. The lone standing cacti — all perfectly placed across the landscape, as if it were intentional. I guess, you could argue it is.
